Please provide us with ALL of the following information:
One of the lightest race bindings available, the Plum R99 has been developed for skimo competitors looking for the highest possible performance. Plum have designed the R99 to combine the very lowest weight, at only 99 g per ski, with reliability for all the conditions encountered when racing. The Plum R99 toe piece is the lightest currently available. Designed for competition use it is easy and quick to enter.
Like most race bindings where weight is critical, the forward release of the Plum R99 is not adjustable and is set at 7 DIN. The toe piece benefits from Plum’s latest “Too Facile” technology with the proximity of the toe pins giving optimal step-in efficiency to ensure you don’t lose precious time getting on the skis.
Plum have designed the heel unit to offer a choice of either 6 or 8 DIN lateral release. You need to decide which you’d like when mounting the bindings. In climb mode the heel unit offers two positions, flat (when the heel unit is turned 90°) or with a lift of 36 mm.
The Plum R99 uses machined high-performance 7075 aluminum and titanium "U" springs for strength and reliability even when you only have a few grams of metal connecting your boots to the skis. The Plum R99 is the binding of choice for many national level French Ski Mountaineering competitors including Alexis Sevennec, Leo Viret and Joris Perillat Pesey. This binding will help you stand on the podium !!
The Plum R99 AT bindings conform to ISMF standards and are guaranteed 2 years.
