The Smart 2.0 offers significantly improved braking effectiveness as well as optimized geometry and intuitive handling. The newly developed brake insert blocks the rope in the event of a fall. The belaying action of the Smart 2.0 depends mainly on the belayer’s reflex movement. . The operation of the Smart 2.0 is very simple, as it does not require any moving parts or levers. A lightweight 80g belay device that fits perfectly in the hand. . The Smart 2.0 can be operated intuitively. It works according to the tuber principle and is suitable for advanced and top rope climbing. The Smart 2.0 allow a faster and easier rope release thank to its compact geometry. while the two-component handle provides a pleasant feel and improved grip. In the event of a fall, the Smart 2.0 reliably blocks the climbing rope. The safety carabiner interacts with the newly developed high-performance brake insert. The advantage: More security and optimum support for the security provider. During breaks of the climber, the force required for the person securing the rope is reduced by the already blocked rope.

The lightweight 80 grams Smart 2.0 is easy to operate and has no moving parts or levers.
