Fischer have spent the last two years developing the 2024 Ranger skis with the Fischer freeski US team. Fischer has completely redesigned the Ranger series, a veritable institution chez Fischer, and the result are skis that you can push as hard as the previous Rangers (which had a great reputation amongst experienced alpine skiers) but with a character that will attract new school skiers looking for a more playful ski that drifts easily and with a tonic flex that returns the energy at the end of the turn. 
The 2024 Ranger series consists of 5 models (Ranger 90, 96, 102, 108 & 116 mm underfoot) built with increasingly large titanal plates and progressively longer rocker as ski width increases so as to optimise flex and float for each model.
The skis in the Ranger range are made in Europe and have been developed with close attention to the selection of raw materials and the use of recycled materials to minimise our environmental impact.

The widest ski in the series, the Ranger 116 offers a massive amount of flotation for making th most of the deepest powder days.
Developed for intermediate and expert big mountain skiers, the Ranger 116 has the performance and character for the steepest slopes, the width for the deepest powder and the agility to navigate the gnarliest terrain.
The beech / poplar wood core and titanal laminates supply a lively flex and torsional rigidty, plus the stability you need for high speed powder descents. With a relatively short 18 m turning radius (187 cm) the Ranger 116 is a whole lot of fun, letting you change trajectory on a dime and make the most of the mountain.

FEATURES:
Core: Beech / Poplar wood core
Laminates: Shaped Ti 0.5. Matching the thickness and shape of this high strength alloy to the performance and geometry of a ski allows optimal grip and stability with a smoother ride.
Sidewalls: Sandwich Sidewall Construction – Wood core combined with ABS sidewalls in a classic Sandwich Construction for balanced flex and perfect rebound.
Base: Sintered Base for exceptional waxing properties and a very long service life.
Freeski Rocker : Long Tip & Tail Rocker with a shorter contact length underfoot ensures that turn initiation is easier and increases agility.
