Having introduced the excellent Ranger freeride skis two winters ago, Fischer have not been sleeping and for 2024 introduce a new series of touring skis,called Transalp CTI. These skis take many of the design concepts of the very popular Ranger skis, but with a lighter construction for effcient touring.

Developed for advanced and expert ski tourers, the Transalp 92 CTI Pro is designed for steep, ice and diffiicult conditions. Built with a light paulownia wood core, the Transalp 92 CTI has carbon stringers and an extended titanal insert providing maximum stability in the harshest conditions. The CTI in the name refers to the "Concept of success Shaped Ti", with a Titanal insert provides maximum stability, power transmission and downhill performance. Weighing only 2.40 kg / pair (169 cm), the Transalp 92 CTI is a performance ski for ski mountaineers and ski tourers wanting both low weight and downhill capability. 

Fischer Transalp 92 CTI Pro Ski Features:

Air Tec:
The weight of the wood core is reduced by 25%, without losing flex or torsional stability. This is possible because of the special milling pattern.

Carbon-Stringers:
Special Carbon Stringers ensure that weight is kept sensationally low with balanced flex and an optimized weight-torsion ratio.

Sandwitch Sidewall Construction:
Wood core combined with ABS sidewalls in a classic Sandwich Construction for balanced flex and perfect rebound.

Shaped TI:
Shaped Ti is a 0.5mm titanium inlay matched precisely to the ski geometry. Specific contouring provides the appropriate amount of stability for a given ability level, plus optimal grip and a smooth ride.

Sintered Bases:
Sintered bases have exceptional waxing properties and a very long service life.

Tour Rocker:
The shorter contact length of the ski ensures that turn initiation is easier and requires less effort.
