Voile have gained a loyal following in the backcountry world with their light, wide yet torsionally rigid skis. Many alpine touring ski brands now manufacture similar skis, but Voile stands out for its commitment to ski touring
A niche product chez Voile are their wide touring skis with waxless fish-scale bases, fun to ski on undulating moderate terrain. The waxless base works well on shorter climbs and in fresh and spring snow, but carry skins for longer, steeper and icy slopes.

Voile's HyperVector BC is designed to provide effective skin-free climbing in moderate conditions with good downhill performance.
The HyperVector BC has the same look and the overall concept of the SuperCharger, but is thinner with a sidecut of 90-98 mm depending on the length of the ski, and therefore lighter.
These skis still offer plenty of surface for skiinnng fresh snow efficiently, and the uphill is even easier thanks to the superlight paulownia wood core and proprietary carbon/ fiberglass weave.
This construction makes the HyperVector quite a bit lighter - you save 350 g  (171 cm length) compared to the UltraVector BC.
The HyperVector BC is great fun for covering the distance in undulating terrain.
